Job Description
FactSet is hiring for the position of Software Engineer I at its Hyderabad office. As a part of the global engineering team, you will work on delivering reliable and scalable software and data solutions for over 200,000 investment professionals worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of financial software products, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and participate in an inclusive and innovation-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to collect and analyze software usage data
- Work closely with internal sales and strategy groups for usage reporting
- Apply diverse software testing techniques to ensure delivery of high-quality products
- Follow best practices for deployment procedures, on-call support, and runtime environments
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum teams, participate in demos, provide updates, and address project challenges
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related computer-based branches - Graduation Batch:
2024 or 2025
Required Qualifications
- 6 to 12 months of hands-on software development experience
- Solid understanding of systems design, data structures, and algorithms
- Ability to approach problems with a pragmatic, iterative mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Proficiency or experience in Java or Python
