We are recruiting for an Executive in the Audit team. Working as an Executive in this team, your responsibilities will include:

• Helping seniors and Assistant Managers in performance review of the team.
• Monitoring work, managing and motivating the team to ensure deliverables meet necessary quality standards and agreed SLAs.
• Being an active member of the audit engagement team and performing audit procedures and tests for the allocated client.
• Contacting clients and the onshore team regularly to update on the progress of audit engagements.
• Sharing knowledge, mentoring and coaching team members.
• Identifying issues or missing information and managing and tracking open issues until resolved.
• Maintaining data confidentiality and adherence to risk management policy by team members.
• Reviewing the team's work and providing timely feedback to help team members improve performance.
• Building relationships with onshore team members across different locations.
• Auditing complex sections of financial statements of companies as per country-specific statutory requirements.
• Demonstrating personal drive and a positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments.

Qualifications

This role is for you if you have the below:

Educational qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA).
• Additional certifications (if any).

Work experience

0-1 Years of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm.

Mandatory technical and functional skills

• In-depth knowledge of external audit for financial services and/or international clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Proficient book-keeping knowledge and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments.

Preferred technical and functional skills

• Experience in Financial Services will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage.
