About the Role
Infineon Technologies is seeking a motivated Engineer Applications to join our Bangalore team. This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Type-C and USB-PD.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize firmware for reference designs, solution demos, and customer requirements.
- Validate firmware and hardware against customer specifications.
- Review customer designs, including schematics, layout, and firmware.
- Conduct interoperability and compliance testing on reference and customer designs.
- Create application notes for Type-C and USB-PD applications.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will have:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science.
- Hands-on debugging experience with interface and microcontroller products.
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Understanding of host interfaces like USB, I2C, UART, and SPI.
- Knowledge of analog design and power management circuits, including switching regulators, LDOs, and DC-DC converters.
- Experience in embedded system design and applications.
- Practical lab experience in board bring-up and debugging of analog circuits, voltage regulators, and power distribution circuits.
