What you'll do

Eaton's Center for Sustainability is looking for energetic candidates with basic knowledge of product stewardship who can drive product compliance assessments for new and current products. The role supports project implementation for product regulatory compliance under regulations such as REACH, AD-DSL, ELV, RoHS, CP-65, POP and upcoming rules, across Eaton's broad Aero product portfolio. The work helps the Business establish and release compliant products and continue operating in various markets.

1. Support the Aerospace business in local product development and engineering services for the global engineering team in product stewardship.
2. Study customer requirements on product compliance and implement them into applicable projects.
3. Work closely with India and global cross-functional teams (project engineering, Quality, Plant Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, etc.).
4. Monitor project progress and achievements, and provide regular reports on development and support activities.
5. Show curiosity and energy in studying upcoming regulatory requirements and share findings with the team.
6. Support continuous process improvement and adopt digital and automation tools to improve process efficiency.

Skills

Strong grounding in engineering, science and arithmetic concepts, including material, weight, volume, density, mass, units and measurement methods.

Theoretical understanding of product stewardship and regulations such as AD-DSL, REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS and Prop65, with basic interpretation skills. You should also be willing to work with local and global suppliers on compliance data.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Interest in automation, continuous improvement, dashboards and digital tools is highly desirable.
