Job Description
This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing testing strategies to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience. The position works closely with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve defects while improving testing processes and methodologies to maintain software quality and reliability.
Purpose of the Role
The Digital Accessibility Analyst is responsible for ensuring applications meet accessibility and quality standards through structured testing approaches. The role involves collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to enhance usability and ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement detailed test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and confirm compliance with quality standards.
- Create and run automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects and quality issues early.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and help define acceptance criteria.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with developers to support timely resolution.
- Partner with peers, contribute to code reviews, and support knowledge sharing to maintain strong code quality practices.
- Stay updated on technology trends and innovations, contributing to internal technology communities to support continuous improvement.

- Build knowledge of underlying principles and practices within the work area and apply previous experience to decision making.
- Communicate complex or sensitive information to stakeholders when required.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand and address their needs.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG and familiarity with accessibility testing tools and techniques.
- Awareness of assistive technologies, including screen readers.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to identify accessibility issues.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience conducting accessibility testing aligned with WCAG 2.2 using manual and automated techniques for web or mobile applications.
- Understanding of usability and accessibility requirements for individuals with a wide range of disabilities.
- Familiarity with project delivery frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience delivering accessibility awareness or technical training sessions.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies related to digital accessibility.
