Join Dialpad’s Product Engineering team as a Software Engineer Intern. This 6-month paid internship is your chance to gain hands-on experience solving real-world technical challenges in a SaaS environment.

Your Responsibilities

In your first 30 days:

• Participate in a comprehensive onboarding program to understand Dialpad’s culture and technology stack.
• Collaborate with a dedicated mentor to work on quick-win projects and deploy your code.
• Engage with experienced engineers from prestigious backgrounds.

In your first 60 days:

• Learn about cross-functional collaboration between Product, Design, Engineering, and QA teams.
• Contribute to a specific project and gain hands-on experience in feature development.
• Work on fixing scalability challenges with a team of engineers.

Beyond 90 days:

• Build and deploy high-quality, scalable, and efficient product features.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to develop impactful solutions.
• Enhance internal tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Master technologies like Python, VueJS, REST APIs, NoSQL, WebRTC, and more.

Who You Are

• A passionate learner eager to tackle large-scale data challenges and distributed systems on the cloud.
• Skilled in at least one programming language, with a basic understanding of Python and JavaScript.
• Strong in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Committed to a 6-month internship with the ambition to contribute to impactful projects.

Skills You'll Develop

• Designing scalable, user-friendly, and robust interactive client/server applications.
• Proficiency in modern technologies such as:
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • VueJS
  • WebRTC
  • ElasticSearch
  • Google Cloud Platform

Eligibility:

• You’re pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related fields. We encourage you to share projects that demonstrate your interest and passion for engineering.
