Position Overview

The Developer Associate (CAP-Nodejs, Fiori) role is part of the Cloud Lifecycle Management Application Management (CLM AM) team, responsible for delivering central tools and architecture for provisioning and operating various SAP Cloud solutions. You will work across the full development cycle, from requirement gathering to design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with international colleagues on cloud development projects.
• Design robust and sustainable solutions using test-driven methodologies.
• Optimize and simplify existing processes and code.
• Perform agile prototyping to identify optimal solutions for cloud operations.
• Develop user interfaces and APIs using model-driven approaches.
• Work across the full stack including UI, business object models, and database modeling.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in Cloud Application Programming (CAP).
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript and Node.js.
• Familiarity with SQL, HTML5, Fiori, and UI5 is advantageous.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTTP, SOAP, XML, and REST.
• Exposure to test-driven and model-driven development methodologies.
• Knowledge of RAP and Generative AI concepts is appreciated.

Team Environment

The CLM AM team develops and maintains the Service Provider Cockpit (SPC), a standard suite for service operations in SAP’s major cloud units including S/4HANA, C/4HANA, HANA Enterprise Cloud, and HCM.
