Job Description
The Trade Finance Operations team manages multiple trade products such as Letters of Credit, Collections, and Bank Guarantees. The role provides opportunities to work across different trade processes and build knowledge in international trade finance operations.
Team members are supported with structured training and guidance from subject matter experts. The position involves continuous learning as new products, processes, and regulatory requirements evolve in trade finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions related to Collections, Letters of Credit, and Bank Guarantees as part of the trade operations delivery hub.
- Ensure activities meet defined customer service level agreements and review pending or outstanding transactions.
- Maintain adherence to internal policies, operational manuals, and regulatory or audit requirements.
- Work closely with branch operations teams and sales staff to maintain strong operational support and coordination.
Skills and Experience
- Understanding of trade finance rules and guidelines issued by the ICC, including UCP and URC.
- Knowledge of legal, credit, and operational risks associated with trade products and services.
- Ability to work in flexible schedules, including late night shifts when required.
