Job Title: Clearing and Settlement Analyst, AS
Role Description
- An Associate manages the daily production and operational processes within the Trade Services business.
- The role may involve working across different Trade Services processes and requires a clear understanding of both core and cross‑trained activities such as settlement matching, fails management, instructions, registered shares, confirmations, cancellations, reconciliation, transaction reporting, and trade investigation.
- The analyst ensures activities are completed according to agreed standards and timelines using appropriate tools and techniques. This includes facilitating efficient MIS reporting and handling operational exceptions.
- The position supports the Manager and acts as a reference point for team members, management, and other stakeholders.
- The role involves strong teamwork and customer interaction, along with solid organizational and prioritization abilities to adapt to changing workloads and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain strong domain knowledge of processes and participate actively in daily production activities.
- Provide reporting to clients and internal management teams.
- Escalate exceptional issues to internal management in a timely manner.
- Ensure service levels are consistently achieved and aim to exceed targets.
- Coordinate with training and senior teams to keep documentation and procedures accurate and up to date.
- Support training planning to ensure staff are properly prepared for operational responsibilities.
- Provide ongoing coaching and ensure development plans are implemented for team members.
- Maintain robust productivity processes and continuously work on improving operational efficiency.
- Manage the quality control process and drive continuous improvement in quality standards.
- Monitor, measure, and report operational issues, opportunities, and achievements within agreed timelines.
- Promote awareness of the escalation matrix and ensure compliance within the team.
- Manage the allocation and prioritization of work and reassign tasks when necessary.

- Meet performance indicators defined in service level agreements across processes.
- Consistently achieve or exceed timeline targets.
- Maintain and exceed quality benchmarks.
- Raise queries within the defined turnaround time.
- Create and maintain MIS reports.
- Suggest improvements to operational processes.
- Perform quality checks where required.
