Position Summary
The Finance Service Desk (FSD) team serves as an internal support line for Deloitte employees across multiple geographies, assisting with issues related to business applications. The team handles calls and requests regarding application or system problems and focuses on delivering consistent service to internal users.
The group operates in a collaborative work culture that encourages initiative, quick decision making, and attention to detail. Team members are expected to work with minimal supervision, adapt to change, and provide dependable support to users across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming support requests from Deloitte employees via calls, chats, web forms, voicemails, emails, and fax.
- Analyze and resolve incidents and service requests related to application software or hardware usage.
- Document every incident or request in the CRM tool and ensure tickets are properly closed or escalated when required.
- Maintain awareness of ongoing issues, outages, and environment changes communicated through internal channels.
- Meet defined performance indicators such as customer satisfaction scores, contact quality, first call resolution, and schedule adherence.
- Participate in individual or team coaching sessions to improve service delivery.
- Provide a professional support experience by understanding user problems and building strong relationships with internal customers.
- Work flexibly across different shifts as the support environment operates 24 x 7.
- Adhere to the organization’s code of ethics, mission, and core values while supporting global teams across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
Required Skills
- Strong written, verbal, and listening abilities with analytical thinking.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex information clearly.
- Knowledge of computers, internet connectivity, and application performance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Effective troubleshooting capability to diagnose and resolve user issues.
