About the Role
We are hiring a Data QA Associate to join our India-based remote team. In this role, you will oversee data cleaning and quality assurance processes for our fast-growing e-commerce insights product. You will work closely with engineering and data teams across the US and China, ensuring that receipt data is transformed into precise business expense insights using our proprietary software.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, label, and clean data from email panels or AI-generated datasets with accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze data trends across merchants and vendors, including categorization and anomaly detection.
- Ensure stability and consistency of vendor data by investigating irregularities.
- Collaborate with international teams to maintain data quality.
- Respond promptly to analyst and client inquiries.
- Adhere to data security and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred fields: Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related).
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or quality assurance.
- Experience in data tagging, cleaning, or using Regex.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, SQL, or Python is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Work Details
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Remote (India)
- Working Hours: 8 am – 5 pm IST, with some overlap with US/China time zones
- Start Date: As soon as possible, no later than June 2025
