About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity, based in Karnataka, India. This role offers the opportunity to work with large datasets, perform advanced analytics, and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business improvement.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and validate data from multiple sources.
• Utilize Python for data cleaning, transformation, and statistical modeling.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and business metrics.
• Document analysis workflows using Jupyter or similar notebook environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate summary statistics.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through rigorous validation.
• Automate repetitive data tasks using Python scripts and scheduling tools.
• Present findings effectively through reports, presentations, and visualizations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation and DAX calculations.
• Familiarity with Jupyter or similar notebook environments.
• Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and interpret results.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a 2 PM–11 PM IST shift.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or cloud-based analytics platforms is a plus.
