About the Role
NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity, based in Karnataka, India. This role offers the opportunity to work with large datasets, perform advanced analytics, and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business improvement.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, aggregate, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Utilize Python for data cleaning, transformation, and statistical modeling.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and business metrics.
- Document analysis workflows using Jupyter or similar notebook environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate summary statistics.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through rigorous validation.
- Automate repetitive data tasks using Python scripts and scheduling tools.
- Present findings effectively through reports, presentations, and visualizations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Python, including Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Expertise in Power BI, including dashboard creation and DAX calculations.
- Familiarity with Jupyter or similar notebook environments.
- Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and interpret results.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a 2 PM–11 PM IST shift.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or cloud-based analytics platforms is a plus.
