About the Role

Join our Front Office Tech Team to build innovative solutions catering to the trading desk’s needs and develop cutting-edge technologies for firm-wide adoption. We are seeking exceptional programmers with a passion for technology to work in dynamic teams that support the entire trade lifecycle—from research and design to development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute individual projects and deliverables while collaborating with business groups.
• Perform R&D to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies for various business requirements.
• Resolve application and data issues in production environments within set timelines.
• Drive complete project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and analysis to delivery and deployment to clients.
• Provide direction and guidance to junior team members and actively participate in code and design reviews.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in programming languages: C++, Java, or Python.
• Experience with frontend technologies like React, Redux, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of RESTful Web Services and messaging middleware.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server and ORMs like MyBatis/iBatis/Hibernate.
• Experience with frameworks like Spring and scripting languages like Perl is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with deployment architecture and frameworks like jQuery is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience or an inclination towards project or people management is beneficial.
