Your Role
In this position, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, clearly define responsibilities, and regularly share insights across the team. Key Responsibilities
- Apply cyber security analysis engineering methods such as Vulnerability Analysis and Attack Tree Analysis.
- Take responsibility for safety analysis engineering methods including FMEDA, DFA, and FTA during product development.
- Understand and validate the implementation of ISO 21434 and ISO 26262 requirements for advanced 32-bit microcontroller products used in autonomous driving.
- Perform technical confirmation activities to ensure products meet safety requirements through analysis and testing.
- Review relevant work products related to ISO 21434 and ISO 26262.
- Contribute to the development of the Safety Analysis Report.
- Document customer-relevant information and recommendations for the Cyber Security and Safety Manual.
- Support the specification of cyber security and safety requirements and help define the related concepts and architecture.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and an interest in safety and cyber security concepts for microcontroller-based systems.
- Degree in functional safety engineering, electrical engineering, microelectronics, physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Familiarity with microcontroller architecture or some experience in microcontroller development.
- Initial exposure to functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or similar safety frameworks is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of cyber security standards including ISO/SAE 21434 is preferred.
- Knowledge of cyber security analysis approaches such as Vulnerability Analysis (VuA) and Attack Tree Analysis (ATA).
- Understanding of safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, and DFA.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English, German language skills are a plus.
