About the Role
Cornerstone OnDemand is inviting applications for the position of SDET Intern at its Mumbai office. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in both manual and automation software testing. As part of the Quality Engineering team, you will contribute to testing initiatives that ensure the performance, functionality, and reliability of our Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
This position involves working with Selenium-based tools and programming with C# and SQL. A keen interest in automation, AI, and cloud technologies (preferably AWS) will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Quality Engineering (QE) team to develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Understand the functional and technical aspects of the product, and apply this knowledge in the testing process.
- Use tools like TestRail to manage test cases and results.
- Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining automation scripts using object-oriented programming languages.
- Participate in front-end and API testing activities.
- Identify, log, and track software defects and work with the development team for resolutions.
- Explore the integration of AI tools in the quality assurance process.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (B.E., B.Tech., MCA).
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills Required
JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java, C#, SQL, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, API Testing, Object-Oriented Programming, Scripting Languages, AI Concepts, TestRail
Desired Candidate Profile
- Basic understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (Java preferred).
- Exposure to front-end test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Understanding of web services and API automation.
- Experience with scripting in at least one language.
- Awareness of AI technologies and their application in software testing.
- Strong desire to build a career in Quality Engineering and Software Testing.
- Testing or AI certifications will be considered a plus.
