Job Description
Cornerstone OnDemand is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Intern to join our Pune office. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing using the Selenium framework, C#, SQL, and more. The role is best suited for candidates who are passionate about testing, have an analytical mindset, and are curious about AI and cloud-based technologies, especially AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Quality Engineering (QE) team on the Saba People Cloud product.
- Under the guidance of a QE Lead, assist in the product testing cycles.
- Undergo training on product functionality, test automation tools, TestLink, and other relevant frameworks.
- Contribute to the testing processes, both manual and automated.
- Gain exposure to tools and technologies used for web and API testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming; Java is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with front-end automation frameworks such as Selenium or Silk.
- Understanding of web services and experience in automated API testing.
- Exposure to at least one scripting language.
- Interest and enthusiasm for a career in Quality Engineering and Software Testing.
- Programming experience in any language (preferably Java).
- A testing certification is a plus, though not mandatory.
