Job Description:
Cornerstone OnDemand is hiring a Junior Engineer - QA Intern for its Pune office. This role is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students seeking hands-on experience in software testing and automation. You’ll play a vital role in the quality assurance process, working with experienced developers to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using internal automation tools and frameworks
• Collaborate with developers to understand software requirements and evaluate testability
• Execute automated test cases to verify software functionality
• Identify, analyze, and report bugs and collaborate on resolutions
• Create and manage test data, test environments, and test documentation
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy discussions
• Contribute to the improvement of automation tools and test processes
• Keep up with modern testing tools, trends, and methodologies
• Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth software releases
• Uphold high standards and best practices in software testing

Candidate Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong understanding of QA concepts, techniques, and SDLC
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages: Java, Python, or C#
• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, TestNG
• Good problem-solving and debugging abilities
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering quality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Eagerness to learn and grow in automation QA

Technical Skills Required: software testing concepts, SDLC, agile methodologies, Java, Python, C#, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, Jenkins, TeamCity, analytical skills, debugging

Additional Information:
While this is an internship role, we welcome candidates with a foundational understanding of QA and a strong interest in automation. Professional experience is not required but a passion to learn and contribute is essential.
