About the Role We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated interns to join our Security Resource Centre (SRC) team for a 3-month internship program. The Security Resource Centre (SRC) operates 24x7x365, providing critical security monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response services to customers worldwide. As an intern, you will work with experienced security analysts, enhance your understanding of cybersecurity threats, and develop the skills needed to detect, prevent, and mitigate security incidents effectively.

Successful candidates who clear the evaluation assessment at the end of the internship will have the opportunity to secure a full-time position in our Gurgaon-based team.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundamental skills in threat detection, log investigation, and event correlation.
• Gain a deep understanding of how cyberattacks unfold and the methods used to investigate and counter them.
• Learn how to analyze security logs and recognize malicious activities within digital environments.
• Work with leading security tools, including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Collaborate with security analysts to identify and mitigate potential threats.
• Understand and apply security frameworks, industry best practices, and compliance standards.
• Assist in creating investigation storylines by connecting different security events to provide clear insights.
• Communicate technical findings effectively to internal teams and external customers.
• Receive mentorship on presenting security recommendations confidently and professionally.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts in a 24x7 cybersecurity environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Open-minded, quick learner with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
• Ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure.
