Overview
Performance Reporting - Fund Accounting Specialist
This role is part of the middle office operations team responsible for performance calculation, attribution analysis, and risk reporting for clients across APAC, EMEA, and NAM regions. The position focuses on delivering accurate and timely performance reports, including account and benchmark performance, attribution, risk reporting, and composite reporting. The role also works closely with onshore teams to support global operating models and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned deliverables in accordance with agreed service level agreements.
- Produce, review, and validate portfolio account performance calculations and related performance reports for accounts, composites, and investment managers.
- Understand performance and risk statistics, including the ability to perform manual calculations and explain results to stakeholders.
- Create customized reports based on client requirements and maintain client composites according to SLAs and GIPS standards.
- Participate in department initiatives and team activities, and support new client onboarding and implementation tasks.
- Review and update operational processes and procedures to strengthen operational controls.
- Coordinate with performance and index vendors when required.
- Resolve data issues using accounting systems and understand the workflow between accounting and performance platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in performance measurement operations or account and security-level performance analysis in a related area.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with segment, security, and attribution performance metrics along with risk statistics.
- Understanding of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).
- Experience with performance systems such as StatPro or FactSet is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel for reporting and analysis.
