Citi Hiring FP&A Analyst (Officer) in Mumbai | Finance Role

Citi Finance oversees the company’s financial management and related controls. The team partners with key business functions and supports major initiatives such as the quarterly earnings process while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. It includes chief financial officers aligned with business units and disciplines such as controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax, and treasury.

Citi is seeking a professional to join as Officer, FP&A Analyst 2 in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will work with the broader finance team to analyze financial results and generate insights that support management decision making. The objective is to develop reports and analyses that measure the organization’s performance against forecasted expectations.

Responsibilities

• Support the estimation of risk capital and incorporate results into management reporting and decision processes.
• Assist in analyzing the financial performance of Citi and its competitors.
• Contribute to annual planning and periodic forecasting activities, and review results against plans on a monthly basis.
• Participate in the annual budgeting cycle and monthly estimate processes.
• Use metrics and analysis to help evaluate proposed business decisions.
• Analyze management review presentations across regions and product groups.
• Support time sensitive activities for client facing Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
• Assess risk when business decisions are made and ensure adherence to applicable laws, policies, and regulatory requirements while safeguarding the firm, its clients, and assets.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of financial, analytical, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Master's degree such as MBA or CA, or equivalent experience.
