Role Overview

The CRIU Analyst is an entry-level role that supports risk and compliance reviews in collaboration with the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. The position involves using foundational AML knowledge to review, analyze, and perform due diligence on higher-risk cases that could pose potential risks to Citi.

Responsibilities

• Support investigations and research related to potentially suspicious clients using internal systems and external databases.
• Document investigation findings and assist in preparing case files with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Write clear and concise summaries outlining the results of investigations.
• Notify management about issues that require escalation and collaborate with different business lines and analysts regarding accounts under review.
• Assist the AML team in managing risk by analyzing root causes of issues and their impact on the business.
• Assess risk during business decisions, ensuring consideration for the firm's reputation and the protection of Citigroup, its clients, and assets.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies while exercising sound ethical judgment and reporting control issues transparently.

Qualifications

• Understanding of AML regulations is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Strong analytical capability for reviewing and interpreting information.
