Meet the Team

The team focuses on delivering high impact Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for AI driven and highly scalable data centre solutions. Engineers work closely with customers to understand complex architectures and requirements, taking ownership of system configuration and complete PoC execution.

During these engagements, the team analyzes convergence related test cases that do not produce expected results. This involves deep investigation into protocols, system behavior, and configuration to identify performance gaps and deliver optimization insights, tuning recommendations, and design guidance for improved convergence, low latency, and high performance.

Root cause analysis is performed to ensure reliability and repeatable results. The team collaborates with development engineering groups to track and resolve defects or enhancement requests, helping ensure production ready outcomes.

Your Impact

AI Network Infrastructure Deployment Testing and Automation

Cisco engineers work on building systems that enhance customer and user experience, ensuring every solution undergoes thorough testing and validation. The role involves exploring emerging technologies and collaborating with architects to deliver reliable networking solutions.

You will develop and improve Python based automation frameworks used to provision and test scaled IP fabrics. Responsibilities include automating test result collection and analysis workflows, creating scripts for configuring fabric switches, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation and deployment.

Testing and Configuration

• Contribute to the design and development of test frameworks and utilities that simplify automation.
• Develop, modify, and execute automated scripts and programs for quality assurance activities.

Documentation and Collaboration

• Create and maintain detailed test plans, automation documentation, and configuration templates.
• Prepare test reports and performance summaries for engineering and management review.
• Work cross functionally with hardware, software, and AI platform teams to improve fabric performance and reliability.

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience in network testing and automation environments.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and automation frameworks such as pytest, paramiko, REST APIs, YAML, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with traffic generation and commercial hardware tools like Ixia or Spirent.

Preferred Qualification

• Understanding of network telemetry and performance monitoring tools including SNMP, gNMI, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Cisco Nexus 9K platforms.
• Working knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible or Jenkins.
