Your Impact

As a Software Engineer, you will focus on creating scalable and intuitive user interfaces using React for Cisco Cloud Security products powered by AI. The goal is to deliver smooth, high quality customer experiences through well designed frontend applications.

You will collaborate closely with backend and platform engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and support enterprise network integrations. The role may also involve contributing to selected full stack features used in Cisco’s cloud security services.

Engineers participate in multiple phases of product development including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The work emphasizes usability, performance, and reliability while solving real customer problems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience contributing to collaborative software development using source control, code reviews, and shared workflows.
• Experience developing web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript and React through internships, academic work, or professional projects.
• Exposure to cloud oriented technologies such as Docker, Jenkins, Python, Terraform, or AWS services including S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, ECS, or CodeBuild.
• Working knowledge of HTTP, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, application state management, and automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of micro frontend architectures, shared UI platforms, and integration patterns across applications.
• Familiarity with frontend build and delivery tools including Webpack, Babel, and Yarn.
• Awareness of monitoring and observability practices in cloud native environments.
• Interest in AI driven products and openness to learning new technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
