Role Overview

The Cloud Operations team is seeking a BizOps Engineer I who will help advance the customer experience strategy through continuous innovation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Monitor infrastructure stability using various monitoring tools.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems affecting servers and services.
• Manage escalations according to defined policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly through tickets and phone calls when coordinating with internal teams.
• Collaborate with different internal groups to address recurring alerts and operational issues.
• Demonstrate urgency when responding to incidents and resolving service disruptions.
• Ensure service level agreements and operational standards are consistently met.
• Maintain and contribute to operational runbooks and documentation.
• Support smooth transition and communication between operational shifts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.

Skills

• Strong analytical ability with interest in learning new technologies.
• Ownership mindset when supporting production servers and services.
• Familiarity with production application support and incident management processes.
• Understanding of infrastructure and application performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, ELB, and IAM.
• Experience working with Linux systems and common command line utilities.
• Exposure to monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace or Splunk is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Some knowledge of scripting languages is considered useful.
• Fundamental networking and security knowledge including TCP, UDP, SSL certificates, and protocols such as SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, and SFTP.
