Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The role focuses on responding to customer queries, concerns, or requests while maintaining established customer service standards. The position supports account, product, and service-related inquiries and helps ensure a smooth customer experience.

Accountabilities

• Provide customer support for questions, concerns, and service requests related to accounts, products, and banking services in a timely and professional manner.
• Work with teams across the bank to align and support customer care initiatives.
• Maintain and manage customer records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in training and development activities to strengthen customer service knowledge and skills.
• Monitor industry trends and developments related to customer service and adopt best practices where appropriate.
• Handle escalation requests by directing them to the appropriate teams or senior management when required.
• Carry out customer service interactions through multiple communication channels such as chat, email, and phone.

Analyst Expectations

• Meet stakeholder and customer needs through strong operational delivery and service quality.
• Complete assigned activities within required timelines and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• This grade does not include people management responsibilities.
• Follow defined procedures and collaborate with team members to complete assigned work.

• Take responsibility for operational tasks and customer service delivery.
• Manage risk and strengthen controls related to assigned work, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Develop an understanding of the role, the team’s objectives, and how the function supports broader organizational goals.
• Work within structured procedures that may involve varied operational routines.
• Apply knowledge of procedures to evaluate options and choose appropriate actions.
• Make decisions based on analysis of factual information.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and customers to address needs and support efficient processes, including handling sensitive matters when required.
