Job Description

Purpose of the role

The role focuses on building and maintaining systems that collect, store, process, and analyze data. This includes developing data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to ensure information remains accurate, accessible, and secure.

Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain data architecture pipelines that support reliable transfer and processing of complete and consistent datasets.
• Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes capable of handling required data volumes and velocity while meeting security standards.
• Create processing and analytical algorithms suitable for varying levels of data complexity and scale.
• Work closely with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models.

Within the Business Banking MI and Reporting team, the role involves building strategic dashboards and performing deep-dive analysis for stakeholders and product owners to support business decisions. Responsibilities include delivering accurate and timely reports, monitoring performance metrics, and generating insights that help improve processes and outcomes.

Technical Skills

• Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, or Python
• Strong SQL knowledge
