Job Description

The KYC Onboarding Analyst supports Wholesale Onboarding activities through daily processing, review, reporting, and issue resolution. The role focuses on ensuring that client onboarding and due diligence processes align with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Purpose of the Role

Assist the Wholesale Onboarding team with operational tasks including KYC processing, documentation review, reporting, and resolution of onboarding issues. The role also involves working closely with internal teams and clients to maintain efficient onboarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily Wholesale Onboarding activities including KYC processing, quality checks, reporting, trading support, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with clients and front office teams to gather Customer Due Diligence documentation required to onboard or refresh client KYC records in line with established policies.
• Work with teams across the bank to align and integrate onboarding processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve onboarding procedures and suggest process enhancements.
• Assist in developing and implementing procedures and controls that reduce risk and maintain operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports and presentations related to onboarding performance and share insights with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor industry developments and apply relevant best practices to onboarding activities.
• Participate in initiatives and projects aimed at improving onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.

Role Focus

• Conduct detailed KYC due diligence checks for new clients including individuals, corporates, and institutional entities.
• Collect, review, and verify onboarding documentation such as identity proof, address verification, and corporate records to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform client risk assessments including screening for politically exposed persons, sanctions lists, and adverse media.
• Identify potential compliance risks and escalate issues to senior compliance or relevant stakeholders when required.
