Purpose of the Role
Provide operational expertise and day to day support to trading and sales teams. The role involves coordinating activities, handling administrative processes, and ensuring trading desk operations run without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide prompt technical assistance to traders and sales professionals, resolving hardware, software, or network related issues to keep trading activities uninterrupted.
- Coordinate trade execution by liaising with traders, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Maintain and update trade records, transaction logs, and client databases with high accuracy.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation that support sales and trading activities.
- Monitor market data and assist in analysing financial information used in trading decisions.
- Handle operational activities including trade processing, order confirmation, and resolution of trade discrepancies.

Role Overview
The Equity Derivatives team works with a wide range of clients and provides structured solutions globally. As an Analyst, you will support the Equity Derivative EMEA and APAC sales teams by handling operational processes, responding to client requests, and assisting with lifecycle management of structured products.
The role involves addressing client queries such as audit requests, redemption questions, fixing event queries, and requests related to deltas or Greeks. The analyst will also coordinate with sales and business management to manage fee and invoice payments and assist with client setup across trading and pricing platforms including BARX, COMET, and Bloomberg.
Additional responsibilities include tracking upcoming product maturities, preparing maturity reports, and coordinating with relevant teams to ensure a smooth maturity process.
Core Responsibilities
- Support sales, structuring, and middle office teams with lifecycle events related to structured products including OTC instruments and notes.
- Investigate and resolve breaks related to coupon or expiry calculations.
- Handle onboarding requirements such as product setup and trading account configuration for existing entities.
- Manage refresh requests, upload required forms, and follow up on onboarding milestones.
- Assist with onboarding processes for new clients.
- Work with valuation teams to verify the accuracy of clients' daily valuation statements.
- Provide management information and respond to client or regulatory queries.
- Coordinate with operations or onshore teams to resolve settlement issues and ensure trades settle accurately and on time.
- Ensure trades are active and dealable by updating client dealing entities and resolving online dealing issues.
- Facilitate trade confirmations when requested.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving or redesigning inefficient processes.
- Respond to operational queries from internal sales teams, infrastructure teams, and external clients across APAC and EMEA.
