Barclays Hiring Data Analyst in Pune | Data & SQL Role

Purpose of the Role

The role focuses on supporting data-driven strategic and operational decision making by extracting actionable insights from large datasets. It involves performing statistical and advanced analytics to identify trends and patterns, then presenting results through clear reports and visualisations.

Key Accountabilities

• Investigate and analyse data quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative sources. Document data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement.
• Design and build data pipelines that automate the movement and processing of data.
• Apply advanced analytical methods on large datasets to identify trends and correlations, create logical data models, and convert insights into practical business recommendations that support operational improvement.
• Use data-driven analysis to highlight opportunities for process optimisation and operational enhancements.
• Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using suitable tools, and automate reporting for both scheduled and ad-hoc stakeholder requirements.
