Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The Analyst provides financial expertise and support to designated business units within the organisation. The role acts as a bridge between the finance function and operational teams, helping translate financial information into insights that guide business decisions.

Accountabilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets for business units while evaluating the financial impact of strategic initiatives and recommending appropriate actions.
• Create financial models to forecast performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess financial risks across business units.
• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to deliver financial insights and guidance that support business decision making.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement changes that streamline operations.
• Assist business units in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks, including providing guidance on risk management and compliance practices.
• Analyse financial data and present insights on business performance, highlight trends, and support management decisions.
