About the Division

Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join our team in Chennai. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and sustain software solutions that meet complex system requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and design robust software solutions.
- Develop and perform unit testing of software components.
- Provide technical input for project estimations and planning.
- Follow KLA-defined software development processes.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks in collaboration with the technical lead.
- Ensure designs and code are scalable, maintainable, and future-proof.
- Support software sustenance activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS/MTech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, C#, and .NET technologies.
- Ability to collaborate with hardware and application teams to translate system requirements into software designs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to transition smoothly from theoretical concepts to practical implementation.
- Willingness to travel internationally for short assignments.
