Overview
Associate Software Engineer
ReliaQuest is seeking a Software Engineer to help build and enhance GreyMatter, the company’s AI-driven cybersecurity platform. The role involves solving complex technical problems, developing automation capabilities for threat detection and response, and contributing to enterprise-grade security solutions used globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and build innovative solutions using modern technologies to continuously improve the GreyMatter platform.
- Develop REST APIs and integrations across products to automate customer threat detection workflows.
- Manage continuous integration and deployment processes for complex systems.
- Conduct code reviews and support ongoing improvements in development standards.
- Automate and optimize stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth product usage and adoption.
- Support teammates and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on exposure to technologies such as Elasticsearch, Kafka, Apache Spark, Logstash, Hadoop/Hive, Tensorflow, Kibana, Athena, Presto, BigTable, Angular, or React.
- Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of unit testing, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodology.
- Relevant higher education or certifications are beneficial.
