About the Role
Swiggy is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our engineering team as Associate Software Development Engineers (Android). In this role, you will contribute to building and improving our Android mobile application, which serves millions of users across India for food delivery, grocery shopping, and dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin and related technologies.
- Collaborate with the Android development team to understand architecture, codebase, and app functionality.
- Assist in designing, implementing, and testing new features and enhancements.
- Work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs for seamless data flow.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain optimal app performance.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and tools.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers for smooth feature integration.
- Contribute ideas to improve user experience and app efficiency.
- Support maintenance and improvement of existing app functionalities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
