About the Role
Swiggy is seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to join our engineering team as Associate Software Development Engineers (aSDE). This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of advanced backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java and Go.
- Work with technologies such as Elasticache, Elasticsearch, Kafka, SQS, DynamoDB, and other modern tools.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Engage in architecture and design discussions for new features and improvements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance to address scalability challenges.
Qualifications
- B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Graduation batch: 2024 or 2025.
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or Go.
- Understanding of backend development concepts and database principles.
- Eagerness to learn and work with cutting-edge technologies.
- Good problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and version control systems such as Git.
