About the Role
rtCamp is seeking motivated and curious engineers with strong JavaScript and React fundamentals to begin their journey in open source and enterprise software development. This role starts with a structured 6-month probation and training program, with opportunities for faster promotion based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Month 1: Learn advanced React framework with full guidance from the team.
- Months 2–3: Contribute to open-source React-based projects and real-world codebases.
- Months 4–6: Collaborate with senior engineers on internal and client projects.
- Utilize AI-based code assistance while being able to explain every line of code, logic, architectural choices, and considerations for security, scalability, and maintainability.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript & React
- Curiosity to learn frameworks like NextJS
- Willingness to work on open-source projects in a team environment
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior web development experience
- Experience with NextJS
- Familiarity with backend technologies like PHP/Python
Application Process
- Shortlisting (15–30 business days) based on academics and/or open-source contributions (especially GitHub PRs)
- Interview Round 1 (5–10 minutes)
- Interview Round 2 (30–60 minutes)

Interviews will be conducted via Zoom. Candidates must keep their camera on and be ready to share their screen when required.
Compensation

| Confirmation Bonus | ₹1,50,000 |
| Post-Confirmation | ₹1,00,000/month |
Total CTC: ₹12 LPA
Eligibility
- Open to CS/CE/IT students with strong computer fundamentals
- Open to working professionals willing to undergo training and follow compensation terms
- Active GitHub profile showcasing coding skills
- Available to join between November 2025 and July 2026
Career Progression
Starting as an Associate React Engineer, you will focus on learning, contributing to open-source projects, and shadowing client projects. After 6 months, promotion to Software Engineer (React) is typical, with further growth to Senior Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer or Engineer Manager roles over the years.
