Associate R&D Engineer - Full Stack Developer
Hitachi Energy is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer with expertise in Java and .NET to join our growing engineering team in Bengaluru. This role involves both front-end and back-end development for desktop and web applications, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components for desktop/web applications.
- Lead and participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Ensure efficient data handling using relational and non-relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate application components.
- Write unit and integration tests to maintain software quality.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Apply best practices for clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Work closely with testers, DevOps engineers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java and .NET technologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Java migration and application server migration processes.
- Experience using JIRA for project tracking.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization technologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with REST APIs and RabbitMQ.
- Understanding of code quality tools such as SonarCloud and Black Duck.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
