About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Engineer, QA to join our team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience, including relevant internships. You will work on automation testing and AI-assisted QA practices across multiple platforms, with guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand application features, workflows, and business requirements.
- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new QA tools, frameworks, and technologies.
- Perform functional, non-functional, regression, and sanity testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA leads to define test scenarios.
- Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Participate in requirement discussions and provide feedback on testability.
- Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites.
- Prepare test documentation, reports, and automation metrics.
- Leverage AI tools to improve test coverage and productivity.
- Follow QA processes, coding standards, and documentation guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
- Interest or experience in test automation and AI-assisted testing.
- Ability to work on multiple platforms (Web, Mobile, APIs).
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar languages.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in QA or test automation (full-time or internship).
- Familiarity with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test reporting tools.
- Understanding of API testing concepts.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
