Role Overview
We are seeking talented Modem-RF Wireless Software Engineers with 0-3 years of experience. This role involves designing, developing, and validating software for Qualcomm's Modem-RF Wireless chipsets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop drivers for advanced Modem-RF transceivers in partnership with RF hardware, modem/baseband, and ASIC teams.
- Create and optimize modem and RF transceiver algorithms to enhance system performance and testability.
- Investigate complex RF and modem issues, providing driver expertise in hardware/software integrated environments.
- Collaborate with physical layer teams to deliver new features and maintain competitive modem performance.
- Work closely with RF & modem systems, hardware, and test engineering throughout product development cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ programming.
- Understanding of RF theory and digital communications systems.
- Knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Good grasp of software engineering concepts and wireless communication systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in LTE or 5G wireless systems.
- Modem/communications device driver development experience.
- Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
