Job Summary
The Associate Consultant - IT role is based in Pune and focuses on Factory Application (MES) implementation and support. The position also involves responsibilities related to software engineering within manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement MES solutions for manufacturing plants.
- Visit plant locations and conduct workshops with users to understand the current (As-Is) processes.
- Gather business requirements, map the value chain, and document the proposed future-state processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support site deployment activities.
- Act as a liaison between plant teams, business stakeholders, and integrator teams.
- Provide onsite or remote hypercare support during and after implementation.
Required Experience
- 0 to 3 years of experience working with MES or shop floor applications.
- Exposure to manufacturing plant environments and MES implementations.
- Understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and Level 2 or Level 4 systems.
- Knowledge of MES integration with Level 4 systems such as ERP.
- Familiarity with ISA 95 standards and plant automation concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting or implementing MES or shop floor applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong communication abilities for collaboration with multiple teams.
