About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice – Automation QA to join our Quality Assurance team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automation testing while working alongside skilled QA professionals. You will assist in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java or Python.
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the automation framework.
- Participate in regression, integration, and functional test automation activities.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to identify, analyze, and document defects.
- Execute manual test cases when required and assist with test data preparation.
- Contribute to continuous integration (CI) processes using tools like Jenkins and Git.
- Prepare test reports and maintain automation execution logs.
- Follow best practices in software testing, defect management, and quality processes.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Java and Python
- Experience or familiarity with Selenium WebDriver
- Good communication skills in English
- Basic understanding of software testing principles
