Job Overview

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer I to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications. The candidate will work on Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API) and gain hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular), databases (SQL Server), and Agile development tools (Azure DevOps).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions for specific areas of the application
  • Take ownership of production systems managed by the team
  • Learn and apply new system design concepts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects
  • Ensure effective communication within the team and across teams
  • Identify and address gaps in internal team communication

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in software development
  • Experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API
  • Strong knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and UI frameworks like React or Angular
  • Experience with SQL Server and database management
  • Exposure to unit testing frameworks (MS Unit, QUnit)
  • Familiarity with Git for version control
  • Understanding of Agile development and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
