Job Overview
We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer I to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications. The candidate will work on Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Web API) and gain hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular), databases (SQL Server), and Agile development tools (Azure DevOps).
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions for specific areas of the application
- Take ownership of production systems managed by the team
- Learn and apply new system design concepts
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects
- Ensure effective communication within the team and across teams
- Identify and address gaps in internal team communication
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in software development
- Experience with .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API
- Strong knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and UI frameworks like React or Angular
- Experience with SQL Server and database management
- Exposure to unit testing frameworks (MS Unit, QUnit)
- Familiarity with Git for version control
- Understanding of Agile development and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Azure cloud platforms
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
