Job Summary
NEC Corporation India is seeking a passionate and motivated Android Developer Apprentice with a foundational understanding of Java and Android application development. The selected candidate will collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing Android applications using Java.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with team members to implement new features.
- Debug and resolve issues to improve application performance.
- Integrate APIs and third-party libraries.
- Participate in code reviews and learning sessions.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Java programming.
- Understanding of Android SDK, Activities, Fragments, and Intents.
- Familiarity with XML for UI design.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Android Studio.
- Basic understanding of Git/version control.
- Knowledge of SQLite or Room database.
- Familiarity with Material Design guidelines.
