About the Role
NIIT is looking for a motivated Alumni Relations Intern for a six-month internship to help strengthen connections with our alumni community and foster engagement between alumni, current students, and the institute. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build a vibrant network using social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Engagement: Use Facebook and LinkedIn to reconnect with alumni, encourage interaction, and create engaging content that fosters nostalgia and community spirit.
- Database Revitalization: Review and segment the existing alumni database, reach out to inactive members, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate records.
- Community Building: Organize initiatives that connect alumni with current students for mentorship and career guidance, co-create content featuring alumni success stories.
- Reporting & Feedback: Track engagement metrics, prepare regular reports, and collect feedback to improve outreach strategies.
Educational Qualification
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Facebook and LinkedIn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for community building
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva
- Goal-oriented mindset
Experience
