Junior JavaScript / React.js Developer

AlgoQA is seeking a motivated Junior JavaScript / React.js Developer to join the development team. The role suits fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who have a solid base in JavaScript and an interest in building modern web applications and Chrome Extensions using React.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js.
• Create and improve Chrome Extensions using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable JavaScript code.
• Work closely with designers and backend developers to implement UI and UX functionality.
• Debug and resolve issues across browsers, devices, and browser extensions.
• Optimize applications and extensions for performance and scalability.
• Take part in code reviews and team discussions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Understanding of ES6+ concepts such as closures, promises, and async/await.
• Basic to intermediate experience with React.js.
• Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Understanding of DOM manipulation and browser behavior.
• Basic knowledge of Chrome Extension APIs and extension architecture.
• Experience using version control tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of REST APIs and API integration.
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Exposure to build tools like Webpack, Vite, or npm.
• Experience with browser debugging tools and developer tools.
• Prior experience publishing or maintaining Chrome Extensions is an advantage.

Experience

0 to 1 year of experience in JavaScript or React.js development. Freshers with strong academic or project experience are encouraged to apply.
