Job Purpose

The R2P Trainee Specialist supports the Accounts Payable process for assigned businesses, with a focus on quality, timeliness and effectiveness. The role may require working in multiple shift timings, including night shift.

Major Accountabilities

Service Delivery

• Supports transitions and knowledge transfer
• Delivers services at expected levels with clear customer service, and escalates exceptions
• Responds to internal and external inquiries
• Manages day-to-day activities for assigned modules

Accounts Payable

• Processes PO and non-PO invoices, credit notes and down payments
• Resolves invoices with price or quantity deviations in a timely way, including follow-ups on debit balances
• Ensures controls are in place and supports payment proposal reviews
• Oversees Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt and clears them on time
• Handles supplier inquiries by email and phone

Compliance

• Ensures all processes, policies and procedures are clearly defined and fully documented
