Job Description

Duration: 6 months

We are looking for a motivated Research Engineer to help advance Language Model capabilities. You will research and implement current techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and other state-of-the-art methods to improve model performance. The role suits someone interested in new technologies, fine-tuning models, and building scalable AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and implement RAG and other advanced techniques to improve Language Model capabilities.
• Prepare data for fine-tuning processes.
• Help set up and optimize the fine-tuning and quantization pipeline.
• Take part in training small transformer models, with attention to performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to building an internal orchestration framework for LLMs.
• Work with senior engineers to integrate LLM software components into the existing system architecture.
• Support the deployment and monitoring of models in production environments.
• Document processes, workflows, and findings to support knowledge sharing and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills.
• Experience with data wrangling and preprocessing.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and VectorDB.
• Good understanding of transformer architecture, embeddings, and tokenizers.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Understanding of LLMs, fine-tuning techniques, and RAG methodologies.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development best practices.
