Job Summary

As an Intern in Propulsion Systems In Service Engineering at Airbus India Private Limited, you will assist the team in evaluating in‑service data, troubleshooting propulsion system issues, and supporting improvements in engine performance and reliability for Airbus aircraft.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting in‑service data related to aircraft propulsion systems including engines, APUs, nacelles, fuel systems, and bleed and air systems.
  • Support investigations into propulsion system anomalies, defects, and operational incidents.
  • Help develop and update technical documentation such as troubleshooting guides, service bulletins, and maintenance manuals.
  • Participate in root cause investigations for recurring propulsion system issues.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams including design, manufacturing, and customer support to address in‑service challenges.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing technical findings and recommendations.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of digital dashboards used for troubleshooting and fleet issue consolidation.
  • Take part in investigations related to component failures or performance degradation of propulsion systems.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to apply engineering principles to real‑world aircraft propulsion challenges.
