An internship titled Internship - Aircraft Systems Engineering has opened at Airbus India. You will join the Systems department, which covers Aircraft Controls & Actuation, Propulsion Controls, Fluid & Hydro Mechanical Systems, Flight Warning Systems, Communication Navigation & Surveillance Systems, and Helicopter Avionics.

The internship is ideally 6 months long and should start in January 2027, though the date is flexible. A tutor will support you in identifying your professional goals and building your skills.

Your Missions

• Assignments on systems engineering processes, modelling, and simulation within the Systems department for the design, development, verification, and certification of aircraft and helicopter systems.
• Automation or improvement projects that support the design, development, or testing of aircraft systems.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation for system requirements, design, and certification compliance.
• Assignments on System Integration and V&V topics.

Required Competences

• Knowledge of Control Systems, Fluid-Hydro Mechanical Systems, Avionics, Radio Communication, or Propulsion Control Systems.
• Basic knowledge of the aerospace domain.
• Proficiency with modelling tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape, SCADE, AMESIM, Dymola, or similar.
• Strong problem solving and logical thinking.
• Ability to work in a team of multidisciplinary and multicultural colleagues, to find innovative solutions, and to take ownership of your work.
• An open mind and willingness to learn.

Added advantages: Google Workspace proficiency, and programming skills in Python, C, or C++.

Language skills: Fluent English (reading, writing, and speaking). Beginner or intermediate French (speaking) is an added advantage.
