Job Description

Airbus is offering a 12‑month apprenticeship opportunity within the Customer Services FHS‑TSP department in New Delhi. The program is designed for fresh graduates who want to begin their careers in an international aerospace environment focused on digital innovation and research.

The role provides exposure to multiple operational areas including defect management, engineering support, planning and technical records, fleet configuration management, and component operations. Apprentices will work alongside experienced teams and gain practical insight into aircraft maintenance and technical services.

Key Responsibilities

TSP MOC - Defect Cell

  • Support the MOC or Defect Cell with documentation such as work orders in accordance with company procedures and instructions from the shift MOC team.
  • Assist with monitoring and follow‑up of reported discrepancies related to defect management activities.

TSP Engineering

  • Assist with reliability data collection, coherence checks, quality validation, and basic data analysis.
  • Support technical publication reviews and compliance activities.
  • Provide technical assistance across multiple ATA areas including aircraft airframe, avionics systems, powerplant, and structures.

TSP Planning and Technical Records

  • Assist planning engineers in creating work orders and work package orders.
  • Support the management of planning workflows and technical records processes.
  • Help develop dashboards and KPI tracking for planning and technical records.

TSP Fleet Configuration Management

  • Support oversight of aircraft configuration including component structures, assemblies, empty positions, and component transactions.

FHS Components Operations

  • Assist with day‑to‑day activities of the components operations team.
  • Provide support in customer management and supply chain related tasks.

Learning Outcomes

During the apprenticeship, participants will gain experience in continuing airworthiness management and aircraft maintenance processes. The program also provides exposure to aircraft systems, maintenance planning, component operations, technical services, and Maintenance Information Systems (MIS).

A dedicated tutor will guide apprentices in defining professional objectives and developing technical capabilities throughout the program.

Eligibility

  • Fresh graduates with a technical undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
  • AME Diploma holders (3 or 4 year program) or candidates with a B.Tech degree.
  • No prior full‑time professional experience. Academic projects and internships are acceptable.
  • Ability to commit to the full 12‑month apprenticeship duration.

Required Knowledge

  • AME diploma holders should have basic knowledge of aircraft maintenance and civil aviation regulations.
  • B.Tech graduates should possess foundational knowledge related to their engineering discipline.
  • Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and G‑Suite tools.
  • English language proficiency at elementary to advanced levels.
