Apprenticeship Program
Airbus India is offering a 12 month apprenticeship within the Advanced Engineering & System Studies department in Bengaluru. The team focuses on Health Engineering and predictive maintenance solutions for aerospace systems. The program is expected to begin in July 2026, with some flexibility in the start date.
This apprenticeship provides exposure to research, innovation, and digital engineering practices while working alongside experienced engineers. Participants will gain practical knowledge in modelling, simulation, and aircraft system analysis while contributing to ongoing engineering activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Support: Assist in designing, developing, and improving aerospace components and systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Technical Analysis: Contribute to engineering analysis and support troubleshooting activities by proposing data driven solutions.
- Engineering Tools: Learn and apply industry standard tools and methods for system design, analysis, and validation.
- Research and Development: Support technology development activities including concept exploration, feasibility studies, and prototyping.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams across R&D, design, manufacturing, and testing environments.
- Agile Development: Assist in building simulation development environment applications using Agile methodologies.
- Documentation: Prepare technical reports, documentation, and participate in internal presentations when required.
- Technology Research: Study emerging technologies and industry trends to support ongoing aerospace innovation initiatives.
Learning Outcomes
During the program, apprentices gain experience in data driven problem solving, modelling and simulation techniques, aircraft system understanding, and technology trend analysis while working in a professional engineering environment.
